This is to get started while we wait for the actual monthly shipment. Hubby is going on a business trip and when he is gone, I usually eat like crap, so... Nutrisystem KickStart box here I come. Shelf stable food, which is not the best tasting, but easy and this box has most of my favorites. I lost 90 pounds a few years ago doing Nutrisystem and I am hoping to lose some more... I still have about 80 pounds to go...</div>

So I did a week of low carb, then I had a bagel. My hubby never got on the low carb train this time so it was hard. So now we are going to do something different, just portion control and tracking... at least for now.<br />
<br />
I did lose some weight since the holidays, I went to the doctor last week and was pleasantly surprised that I weighted less than before the holidays... actually to the point that the nurse asked me what my secret was! 😀<br />
<br />
So, it was a crazy week, stress at work, stress at home and crazy back issues, different day/different issue. So now I need to focus on what I am doing. I will be trying to take pictures of what I am eating, not sure that I will do the daily logs but at least try to post most days. I would like to go back to the overnight oats for breakfast and salad a couple of times a week (but not too much as salad does not get along with my digestion.<br />
<br />
I also bought a yoga mat and bricks and would like to start doing that, I have Prime Video, Hulu and Netflix so hoping there are some good yoga videos out there, oh, YouTube on my TV is amazing!<br />

I'm also gonna look back at some of the old posts, tweak a few, do some new ones and see where this takes me. Stick around, won't you?<br />

I turned 41 a couple of months ago, you know when people say your body changes after 40... they are not kidding! I have pains in places I never knew I had. I can't breathe, of course I have gained back all the weight I lost a couple years ago... I have to do this or I feel that I am not going to make it.<br />

So I decided to come back here, do the Weight Loss Journey and the Downsizing Me Log again... It can't hurt and maybe I can inspire some of you along the weigh... See what I did there!<br />

It said 255.9 (which was better than a split second before when it said 257). I weighed 209 in November 2015. I have gained back almost 50 pounds in a year and a half. This was when I got married. I HATE my wedding picture. I didn’t buy a normal wedding dress, I ordered two dresses off the internet because I wasn’t sure which one would fit. I felt so ugly and fat. I tried after that. I lost a bunch of weight and got to about 260 pounds when I was 35 (in 2013). Then I gained it back and hit 280 pounds. So in January 2015, we decided to try Nutrisystem. I lost 71 pounds. I was 209 pounds at my lowest in November 2015. Then we stopped doing Nutrisystem. We said we could do it ourselves. We went to different diets and ways of eating. We tried Nutrisystem again. I gained almost all of it back. I can not believe this happened. If we had just stayed on Nutrisystem in November 2015, I would probably be at goal now. I am so disgusted.<br /><br />Sometimes, I want to give up, just give in to the fact that I am fat. Food tastes good. I enjoy eating it. Diet food is boring and I hate being hungry. But then I think about not being healthy. I am going to be 40 years old in October of this year. I am so scared about that. I want to be a mother. I want to be a normal weight, not skinny, I have never wanted to be skinny, I just want to be healthy.<br /><br />So we start over. We started Nutrisystem again on 1/2/2017. I will be walking and MOVING more. I need to do this. I have to do this. I want to do this. <br /><br />253…<br /><br />Never again.</span><br />

Comments - So Thursday was my boss's birthday at work. There was pizza and homemade chocolate cake with mixed berry filling and frosting... I HAD NO PIZZA AND ONE SMALL BITE OF THE CAKE, REALLY IT WAS JUST A TASTE!!!! 😇 Then on Friday, we had a going away breakfast for another employee, there was cheesecake, donuts and lots of danishes... I had a small bite of a blueberry muffin! Did pretty good, if I do say so myself.<br />

Anybody who knows me knows that I currently live in Las Vegas because I lived in Northern Nevada for 8 years and had enough of the snow. I couldn't stand living in it anymore. Even now, when I think about moving back there, my knuckles turn white and a family of butterflies invade my tummy. But, if I don't have to live in it... I love it...</div>

What do I mean by that. If I don't have to actually function (go to work, drive, etc). It is amazing. I love to snuggle on the couch in the middle of a snow storm with the fireplace burning and a cup of coffee and just watch the snow. It gets so quiet and peaceful.</div>

I never send Christmas Cards, like, NEVER... I always say I am going to, buy the cards, but then never send them. This year is different. My hubby mentioned that he wants to send cards out. So we are going to do it. </div>

MY FAVORITE THINGS TO DO ON A COLD DAY...</div>

Having said that, there are some things that are great for a cold day.<br />
<br />
When I lived in an area where it snowed (and I didn't have to leave the house) I loved to sit in the warm house with a blanket, snuggled up on the couch and watch the snow come down. It was so peaceful, the snow would insulate everything and it would get so quiet.<br />
<br />
Now, I live in the desert so it gets cold, but we have not had snow (at least not yet). I snuggle up in my fuzzy pajamas and slippers, with my fuzzy blanket and the fireplace going. A cup of hot cocoa or maybe some soup or chili. A good book or a favorite movie on the tv. Or I just stay in bed and cuddle with my hubby or my dog.<br />
<br />
I do actually leave the house, but I hate being cold. Sometimes I like going out for a walk in the cold, but I have to be very bundled up. When the air is brisk and clean and your nose gets red!<br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /><br />Wow, its December 1st. It feels like it was just March. Although, alot has happened. <br /><br /><ul>
<li>We moved in to a new house (rented not bought). </li>
<li>We had to get up in the middle of the night to drive across the country to help out a friend (21 hours in the car, it was fun😒)</li>
<li>Hubby's mom (in Southern California) was sick and he had to drive down there at the spur of the moment, then she had to have surgery, a couple of times</li>
<li>We lost one of our dogs</li>
</ul>
<br />Like I said, lots of stuff. <br /><br />I have hopes that the month of December and the new year will bring with it some better times, not that it was all bad. I am still clear with my health. I have not had any other issues (thank goodness). I love my job and work with a great group of people. <br /><br />All in all, I am pretty lucky!</span><br />
